This fantastic birch bowl is 5 7/8 inches in diameter and 1 5/8 inches high. It is 1 1/4 inches deep at its deepest point. The birch wood used for this piece has many stunning grain patterns and the early stages of spalting.
The item is finished with 100% food safe, high gloss finish. A materials data sheet is available upon request.
The wood for this piece was gathered in Williamstown, Massachusetts, from a tree that came down in an ice storm in the spring of 2008. The item is signed and numbered, #121.
