This unique eco-friendly maple bowl not only features a hand turned design, it also has a wonderful ivy pattern carved completely around the piece. The ivy is carved into a thin brown acrylic paint layer. The dark (black) areas are naturally occurring wood imperfections.
This piece is nearly 5 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height. It is 1 ½ inches deep at its deepest point. It is finished in 100% food safe salad bowl finish.
The wood for this bowl was recycled from a maple tree that was brought down during a wind storm in 2010 in Chesterfield, MA. It is signed and numbered, #82.
