The knot on the rim of this one of a kind handmade white birch bowl is terrific. It gives the wood bowl a look all its own. The wooden bowl is 7 ¼ inches in diameter and 1 7/8" high. The wooden bowl is a tad over 1 ½ in deep.
The white birch bowl is finished with 100% food safe high gloss finish (Materials Data Sheet Available).
The grain of the wood is speckled with various stages of spalting. The wooden bowl was recycled from a tree that was brought down in Williamstown, MA, by an ice storm in 2008. This piece is signed and numbered, #88.
