This unique hand turned spalted maple bowl is 5 ¾ inches in diameter and 2 7/8 inches high. It is 1 3/8 inches deep. The piece is finished with Linseed oil and satin Salad Bowl Finish, which helps to bring out the strong spalting contained in the wood. It is food safe. The maple wood was hand gathered in the Northeast United States. The bowl has been dried for several months to prevent warping and checking. This piece is signed and has an item number of 37.
