This is a cute handmade birch bowl. It measures 5 ¾ inches in diameter and 1 ¾ inches high. It is 1 3/8 inches deep at its deepest point. The bowl does show some spalting near the rim.
The piece is finished with pure tung oil and 100% food safe high gloss finish. A materials data sheet is available on request.
The wood for this item is recycled from a birch tree that was taken down during an ice storm in 2008. It is from Williamstown, Massachusetts. The piece is signed and numbered #87.
