This one-of-a-kind maple hand turned and hand carved bowl measures 5 1/8 inches in diameter and 2 ¼ inches high. It is 1 ½ inches deep at its deepest point. This bowl was turned from maple wood gathered from a downed tree in Chesterfield, Massachusetts. After turning an acrylic green hue was applied to parts of the bowl. After that dried the unique pattern was hand carved into the green area revealing the natural wood under the hue. This is a one-of-a-kind piece. It is finished with 100% food safe satin finish over the acrylic paint and wood. The piece is signed and numbered, #81.
