This spalted birch box is perfect for holding jewelry, trinckets or even a small stash of your favorite candy as the finish is 100% food safe. The piece is three inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches in height with the lid closed. The inside of the box is about 3/4 of an inch deep and could easily hold a necklace, a few rings or an emergency supply of M & M's. The piece is signed and numbered #114.
This wood box's lid fits loosly on the base and does not twist to tighten like several of my pieces.
